The idea behind Southeast Whitetail is to celebrate Southern hunting culture, to bring back science in deer management and to promote three focal points: habitat, conservation, & venison.
The Southeast is the birthplace of Quality Deer Management. Al Brothers established QDM in Texas and Joe Hamilton brought it to the Southeast and revolutionized deer management. The South has a rich hunting culture and has been on the forefront of whitetail research and conservation.
As Dr. Grant Woods stated on my podcast about the Southeast: “That’s real deer biology there. It’s not thousands of acres of corn and soybean fields. You gotta dig in and do real work down there.”
Whether you own or lease Southern ground, SEW can help better your land, wildlife and habitat.
